We work remotely but would prefer to work with our designers in a UK timezone.

We also meet twice a month in central London, so right now we will only consider full-time and part-time designers who are able to join us.

Freelance

We are always keen to hear from UK-based freelance graphic, web and motion designers who want to collaborate. Please drop an email with your portfolio, CV, rates, availability, design likes and dislikes and a short message addressing why you’d like to work with us via our contact page.

We are not able to reply to all submissions that do not meet the above criteria.

Interns & Work Experience

Due to the stage of business we are currently in, we are not taking on work experience or interns as we feel that we would be unable to give you the greatest insight into design life. We recommend looking for an agency with in-person / in-agency opportunities to get to know what a busy agency who meet daily in real life is like. Should you have already completed this kind of experience, please feel free to get in touch if you are UK based, and happy to work remotely, noting this on your application.

    FACT: you need financial as well as an emotional rewards for the work you put into our client’s businesses. That’s why we offer great salaries with annual reviews. Although we can’t guarantee an annual increase, we are always transparent about how the business is doing and believe in sharing in the success. We know ‘thanks’ although welcomed (and regular within the SCDS team), doesn’t pay the bills.

    We have regular one-to-one meetings, reviewing objectives and goals to ensure we are collectively improving ourselves every day.

    As creatives, we get that creative spark at different times of day which is why we are open to flexible hours. We treat our people in the way we’d want to be treated, so we expect you to do your job, meet deadlines and be creative in a way that suits you best.

    We work remotely, so we’d love you to have a space to work from and the ability to meet twice a month in London to co-work and co-lunch!
